Sileni Estates is a family-owned winery situated in the beautiful Hawke's Bay region of New Zealand. Founded in 1997 by Graeme Avery, the winery draws its name from the Sileni, mythical creatures from Greek mythology celebrated for their passion for wine. The Chardonnay is crafted only in exceptional vintages, sourced from carefully selected parcels throughout Hawke’s Bay, featuring a variety of soil types such as gravel, silt, and clay loam. This diversity enriches the wine with depth and complexity.
The wine presents concentrated stone fruit aromas, complemented by notes of nectarine, peach, and citrus, with subtle hints of almond and toast on the palate.
This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with lobster, creamy risotto, or roast chicken with all the trimmings.
